Michael Flatley's Irish dance juggernaut turns 30 and lands at the Oval Hall for five performances across four nights. New choreography, new staging, and a lot of taps.

Official event details for Spotlight: Playtime →South Yorkshire's grandest Georgian house throws open 50 acres of gardens and reimagines itself as Rotherham's original nightclub, with live dance, a silent disco in the woods and walkabout performers. The biggest one-day festival of the week.
Official event details for WE Wonder 2026: The Original Nightclub →An outdoor celebration of Caribbean music and food, headlined by Stylo G with Ruude, Khouri Llove and Medley, plus sound systems including Desert Eagle and Willpowa. Jerk pans, rum punch and free parking on site.

Official event details for Steel City Dancehall Festival →Four classic horror films projected from rare 35mm prints, with the titles kept secret until the moment each reel begins. Vintage adverts, trailers and other surprises fill the gaps across a full day at the Showroom.

Official event details for Celluloid Screams: 35mm Mystery Marathon 2026 →Hillsborough Park hosts a storytelling trail through the Gruffalo's deep dark wood, with a crafts tent, den building, face painting, tennis tasters and live music from James Lyons. It closes out the council's summer Woodland Adventures programme.

Official event details for Gruffalo Gathering Family Fun Day →Design and paint your own glass coasters at Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet, taking patterns and colours from the buildings and landscape around you. All materials provided and no experience needed.
Official event details for Family Workshop: Glass Painting Coasters →The Liverpool DJ takes an extended set at the outdoor Steel Yard site, with support from Kidoo, Stef Davidse b2b Hidde Van Wee, Capron and Deltech. One of four Groovebox dates turning the yard into a late-summer dance destination.

Official event details for Dean Friedman in Concert →A drop-in session at the Millennium Gallery where families design and build a take-home trophy from shiny materials and cardboard, inspired by the gallery's football metalwork. It runs as part of the Football Art Prize programme.

Official event details for WTF: Possession [45th Anniversary] →A first outing for Bloom Sheffield's flower festival, spread across The Victoria and The Mowbray. There's a market of Yorkshire-grown blooms and independent makers at one venue, and talks, floristry demos and workshops at the other, including Gardeners' World presenter Rekha Mistry and Ikebana master Junko Popham.
